Free ASP.NET Hosting for UK Students

I’ve got news via Ed Dunhills blog at MSDN that they have been working with Webfusion to provide free ASP.NET web hosting for UK students. It’s good news , because ASP.NET is unaffordable and free ASP.NET hosting is really rare.

The free hosting includes:

  • Windows Server 2008, IIS 7, 500 MB disk space
  • SQL Server 2005 database
  • Support for ASP.NET 2.0, .NET 3.0, .NET 3.5, classic ASP and PHP

But, to get your free account you need a unique code and a .ac.uk email address, and they will be distributing the codes directly via their faculty contacts. For more details informations you can visit Ed Dunhills blog that posted about this news.
