CU3ER – FREE FLASH 3D IMAGE SLIDER

Today, I browse for some inspirations on TheCSSAwards and found lots of new great website with great layout design and also great visual effect. FullfatStudios is one of website that impress me with a cool image slider but with nice 3D cube effect. And then I try to “right click on that image slider” because I’m curious is it a flash or a javascript animation. Oh it is a flash and on top of right click menu it shows that it using CU3R – Flash 3D Image Slider, and thanks God … it’s FREE! :) .

So .. if you want to add a nice cool cube 3D effect may you try this CU3ER. The cool effect like this will impress your visitor. It is suitable for featured content slider, or banner/image rotator. It is customizable via XML config. So you can custom the effect that you choose to fit with your web design style.

There are no special requirements for setting it up and running other than a limited knowledge of web authoring:

    Yes, the CUB3R slider has been very popular lately, and it’s pretty cool for one of those big header-style sliders.

    I myself created a very minimalistic image slider a while back and released it for free to the community. It too uses 3D to transition between images. All settings are tweakable via XML and since it’s built on Papervision and not the native 3D engine in Flash it even has Flash Player 9 support, just like CUB3R!

    Would wish my own slider wasn’t Flash based, so it’d work on iOS devices, but I don’t think that kind of 3D is doable with JS/CSS3 at the moment – If i’m wrong, please do enlighten me.
