Actually its subdomain. And not any domain you can get for free. Some of them comes pretty expensive (i tried freedom.co.cc and xlt.co.cc). Anyway i think that it is better to spend some bucks on real .com or .net domain over whom you have full control.

Hmm I agree with you xlt :), It is better to spend some bucks on real. And yeah, Now I realize that it is just a subdomain actually, but I think it is worthed too to simply long URL such as http://yourname.blogspot.com and etc
